Nexperia Interactive Datasheets – Complex calculations within milliseconds
In the world of electronic design, datasheets are essential for engineers. Datasheets provide them with crucial data on product behavior under different conditions. The process is time-consuming and complex, involving engineers performing manual calculations or setting up a simulator using models from the manufacturer. This results in weeks of manual calculations by engineers to determine if components are suitable for their designs. The need for a more efficient, accurate, and user-friendly solution was clear.
Nexperia wanted to provide the engineers with a solution that allows engineers to input their complex scenarios and receive reliable results in seconds.
The challenge was to create a tool that not only visualized parameters through multi-dimensional formulas but also made it user-friendly. We needed to ensure the scalability and re-usability of the tool across a spectrum of semiconductor projects, each with its unique complexities.

With a clear vision for innovation, we have worked together with Nexperia as long-term partners, to develop the Interactive Datasheets. Interactive Datasheets reduce weeks of manual calculations and complex simulations to just a few seconds. Engineers can now quickly and easily visualize the interaction between different parameters and obtain real-time results, significantly accelerating the design process and improving accuracy.
These interactive datasheets effectively offer a type of graphical user interface to a circuit simulator, using Nexperia’s advanced electrothermal models to calculate the operating point of a device. They allow engineers to visualize immediately the interaction between parameters such as gate voltage, drain current, RDS (on), and temperature. Their collective contribution to the device behavior is then displayed dynamically in tables or graphs.
